Explore Cu Chi Tunnels (an underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. The tunnel system was an excellent way for the Vietcong to move around the countryside undetected by the Americans and home to around 10,000 people who lived underground for several years)

Travel back to Saigon
Visit Notre Dame Cathedral – the oldest Christian church in Vietnam
Visit General Post Office – a testament to the French presence in the late 1800s
Explore Jade Emperor Temple (one of the best Taoist temples in Vietnam, with superb effigies, remarkable carved panels of the descent to Hell, and somewhat incongruous terrapin and tortoise sanctuaries. You can choose to visit the Jade Emperor Temple War Museum or Reunification Palace)
Have two hours free time to visit Ben Thanh market
